Today, we are going to look at Life Is Strange: True Colors, True Colors is a Graphic adventure game and This is the fourth title of the series and just like its prequels, it revolves around the supernatural psychic abilities of the protagonist and their personal story true colors was developed by Deck nine.
The studio that created the prologue before the storm already and takes us to the picturesque mountain town of haven springs it tells the story of Alex Jen a 21-year-old woman who grew up in a foster family and had a troubled childhood encouraged by her older brother Gabe that she hasn’t seen in 8 years she travels to haven springs to reunite with him and hopes to find a new home in this town.
Finally, settle down but shortly after her arrival Gabe is killed in a mysterious accident and Alex is alone again in a town she doesn’t know and surrounded by people that.
Life Is Strange True Colors Review: She’s not connected with but something about the accident seems to be strange and she has the feeling that the citizens are trying to hide details from her Alex. Starts to investigate the truth by herself and with the help of her special powers that give her the ability to read and manipulate the emotions of others that appear as colorful auras the more intense the aura the more mental weight do the people carry around be it a childhood drama or hardship they may be going through right now by interacting with the person Alex creates a so-called nova a parallel version of the environment that reflects elements of the drama.
Lets her see fragments of thoughts and emotions Alex then has the opportunity to figure out what is wrong and how she can help the character to find comfort but her empathy power is not always a blessing sometimes it feels more like a curse to her especially when she gets infected by a pretty strong aura and can hardly control herself or keep an emotional distance but by using her ability.
She can get an insight into people’s minds lives and backgrounds can feel their fears sadness or anger and slowly uncovers the shocking truth behind haven springs another big part of the story is to try and build relationships with the inhabitants especially with Steph and Ryan Steph should be familiar to everyone who played before the storm cause back then she was living in arcadia bay and was one of chloe price’s classmates after high school. She moved to haven springs and quickly noticed her love for arts and music so she started to work at the local record store and radio station and eventually became its manager Ryan on the other hand was born and raised in haven springs and never saw anything else.
Life Is Strange True Colors Review: Then, in his hometown and the mountains around it as a park ranger, he takes care of the beautiful nature and also helps sales to uncover the truth behind her brother’s death.
During the story, you will develop a strong friendship with both characters and in addition, you can also form a deeper connection to one of them to which one is completely up to you and depends on your decisions and playstyle besides the new story characters and environment.
The game has the usual deep conversations with loads of unique and interesting characters the typical exploration of details interaction with objects around you and puzzle-solving similar to the former titles there are also a lot of decisions that make some with less impact on the storyline others with a significant impact that will change the outcome of the game because just like its predecessor’s.
Life Is Strange True Colors Review: True colors will have multiple endings as well there will also be an amazing soundtrack again featuring different musicians. So if you want to get in the mood for the game you can find the album on all online stores and streaming services a new feature of the game at least technically is that all the main characters and scenes have been created with motion capture to provide more realistic facial expressions and gestures than in the former titles.
