HP Victus 16 Review :

Today we are going to look at HP Victus 16, The HP vector 16 is like a hybrid between a gaming laptop and an ultrabook and I personally feel like it offers the best of both worlds without compromising much and you get some of the newest and most powerful specs on this without being too expensive and this is quite new for an HP laptop to offer value well.
HP Victus 16 Review: There are also other models of this laptop available which come in at different price ranges but here I have the RTX 3050ti variant which I feel will be the best in terms of value.
Let’s get into the first main aspect which will be the build quality and design of the laptop the hp vector 16 adopts a new mod id design distinguishing it from other hp gaming laptops like the pavilion. This laptop comes with a new v-shaped logo on the top surface furthermore, the hinge and other areas of this device also come with the vector’s engravement, in fact, there is no one of hp on this laptop and this is a new brand despite having a 16.1-inch screen, thanks to its optimized design, the actual body is close to 15.6 inches the way that they achieve this here is by having a high screen to body ratio making the bezels ultra-thin which also helps make the viewing experience better.
The overall appearance of this device is not large for a gaming laptop and is really portable at 1.5 kg and a thickness of 17 millimeters overall this is a massive upgrade compared to other gaming laptops and it can really pass as a regular portable laptop.
The port selection and input on this are also quite good including three USB-A ports a USB-C port HDMI 2.1 port an ethernet port an sd card reader iPhone and microphone combo jack and power in.
The keyboard and trackpad on this are also quite decent the laptop comes with a large keyboard and a digital key area as well as a number pad. The overall feel of the keyboard is moderate meaning not too hard and not too soft during typing you can basically not hear any sound from it and the keyboard offers led backlighting which is useful for working or playing when it’s dark the trackpad’s area is 19 larger than the previous generation making it more comfortable to operate.
The speakers are bang average for laptop speakers and can be possible for casual listening and such.
HP Victus 16 Review: The display on this is another positive for it as it gives you a higher refresh rate without washing down the colors. The panel has a 16.1 inch full HD IPS display with a 144hz refresh rate the colors, contrast, and viewing angles are all really nice as it has 100 percent RGB coverage and good brightness mixed with a smooth experience from the 144hz makes playing games a great experience. Overall the color output is calm and the long-term viewing of the screen does not cause any eye fatigue.
The Performance, Specs are however the main attraction here and they include an AMD Ryzen 7-5800H processor 16 GB of DDR4 ram a 512 GB NVME PCI-E SSD and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050ti. The performance offered by the specs is among the best I’ve seen at this price due to the excellent Ryzen 7 5800H and the new RTX 3050ti that offers RTX performance and features at a price that isn’t too expensive.
The SSD is quick and gives good speeds across the board and you can easily edit at above 1080p and play pretty much every game out right now at high fps and settings and you can get a bit better performance on some laptops at this price but honestly, the difference is quite minor and these specs are still great value.
HP Victus 16 Review: Thermal is pretty solid as well and it doesn’t warm up even while gaming and doesn’t thermal throttle the CPU and GPU which is great.
Battery life is around average and is decent for a gaming laptop you shouldn’t be buying the slot for its battery life but for low to medium usage, it can last for a decent amount of time. So Overall this laptop is an amazing and decent price. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a laptop for around 1000 dollars.
