Citizen Sleeper Story
Citizen Sleeper is an RPG set on Erlin’s Eye. This wrecked space station is home to thousands of individuals fighting to survive on the outskirts of an interplanetary capitalist society, from the creators of In Other Waters and showcasing the fantastic character art of Guillaume Singelin.
Interplanetary capitalism’s ruins serve as the setting for roleplaying. Experience life as a runaway laborer washed ashore on a lawless station on the outskirts of an intergalactic society. Hover the station, choose your friends, escape the past, and create your future, inspired by the flexibility and freedom of TTRPGs.
Citizen Sleeper Gameplay
As a sleeper and a digitized human consciousness in an artificial body controlled by a corporation that wishes to reacquire, you are thrown into the strange and colorful denizens of the Eye. You must forge alliances, earn your keep, and navigate the factions of this bizarre metropolis if you desire to see the next cycle. An abandoned station on the outskirts of a failing system. It was formed by idealists in the aftermath of a corporate failure, and it was run down, chaotic, rowdy, and alive. It is now held together by anarchic alliances, ramshackle factions, and a shared desire to be free of corporate influence.
Every cycle, you get up and decide what you want to accomplish with your time. Work in the yard or get a bartending job. Look for unusual components in the markets or eat some street food. Make or break alliances, uncover facts, and flee those who are after you. One cycle at a time, learn to survive and eventually thrive.
Citizen Sleeper Review: The station is home to folks from various walks of life attempting to make a living amid the stars. Salvagers, engineers, hackers, bartenders, and street food vendors all have a narrative that led them here. You get to choose which of them you want to assist, and you’ll design your destiny together. Hack into the station’s cloud to gain access to decades of digital data, discover new regions, and reveal mysteries.
This is your one-of-a-kind ability, which you may use to influence your destiny. Those willing to delve into the station’s networks will find corporate secrets, renegade AIs, and troves of lost data. Essen-Arp: you’re just property to them, another item in a portfolio that spreads over the stars. You are the product of an oppressive society in a universe where humanity’s expansion is characterized by exploitation and extraction. Escape the designers of your rotting body and forge your own path in a brilliantly created, deeply relevant sci-fi world that tackles concepts of precarity, identity, and freedom.

Clocks watch your actions and the activity of others on the station. Clocks allow you to measure your own development and your influence on the world around you, from becoming a local at the Overlook Bar to protecting a friend from Yatagan enforcers.
Follow drives rather than quests, allowing you to pick and choose which stories and activities interest you. As you progress, you will shape your character’s five talents Engineer, Interface, Endure, Intuit, and Engage, gaining advantages and bonuses that reflect and influence how you choose to live in this environment.
