Roller Champions Gameplay & Rules
Roller Champions is a third-person perspective 3v3 competitive multiplayer sports game. In the game, two teams of players attempt to score five points by hurling a ball into a goal in seven minutes. A player must obtain possession of the ball and skate at least one lap without being interrupted by opponents to score. Other teammates can complete subsequent laps by passing the ball to them. Players can gain more points per goal by completing more laps, but they will lose progress if opponents stop them.
The opposing team must attempt to tackle and knock over the ball when one unit obtains possession of the ball, though such attacks can be avoided. When a player wins, they get more followers, allowing them to compete in tournaments with larger crowds. The player avatars and their equipment and the clothing of the fans can be freely changed with numerous cosmetic items. One lap around the track equals one point when you successfully dunk the ball. Completing two laps earns you three points, and completing three laps earns you five points, allowing you to win the game.
Roller Champions Review: The ultimate goal is to finish your laps and score points before the opposition team can grab the ball away from you. Teams can utilize various techniques and teamwork to keep the ball secure when in possession, such as fooling out opposing players and passing the ball quickly. To snag the ball, the attacking team can use momentum to slide, tackle, grapple, or overwhelm the opposing team. If a team loses the ball, their points are reset, and they must complete a full lap to recoup the issues they have lost. With its vivid graphic style, Tron-Esque aesthetics, and unique character customization choices, Roller Champions may appear to be a gigantic party. Still, it features a competitive sporting experience behind the hood that needs planning, practice, and teamwork.
Roller Champions Character Customization
You can create your own character and modify your wardrobe as you go. As you progress, you will be able to obtain the best equipment, such as skates, helmets, new clothing, gloves, goal effects, emotes, air postures, player titles, and banners. Roller Champions also offers a variety of cosmetics, including clothes, labels, and banners, enabling players to customize their character. The trailer also claims “countless” emotes for participants to express themselves and a range of various goal effects, emulating Rocket League.
Roller Champions Seasonable Roller Pass

Unlockable goods earned in-game, and through a season pass can be used to personalize your Champion. A skatepark-themed social hub allows friends and other users to meet up, practice, or play mini-games.

Roller Champions Graphics & Visuals
Gauthier Malou, the creative director, wanted to develop a modern sport that was grounded yet pushed the bounds of reality. A short leap into the future ten years helped achieve both objectives! This allowed Joel Dos Reis Viegas to let loose and form and function in Roller’s environment while a crew of graffiti painters handled the game’s graphic identity. Our forefathers were regarded as the archetypes of Roller Champions. They are the sport’s creators, each from a different country but linked by their collective love of roller skating and death-defying tricks. They collaborated to develop a sport that anyone could learn to play…as long as they knew how to put skates on!
Similarly, their design is intended to be one-of-a-kind, from the equipment they assembled to their characteristic colors: red for Asha, black for Shao, and teal for Sam. Every professional athlete selects their number for personal reasons. Asha and Shao chose the year they began roller skating, while Sam chose “03,” the number of laps required to win a match in one fell swoop – an aggressive style that Sam favors. We want players to feel like true stars.
Thus we made it a priority to reflect player progression through customization. You’ve most likely heard of them! This refers to artistic inspirations from well-known real-world sports such as roller derby, hockey, etc. The radical category leans toward fashionable modern inspirations, allowing for products such as the Varsity hoodie. The Fantasy category contains outlandish products inspired by sci-fi and fantasy universes. The world of Roller Champions, like our own, has one thing in common with all professional sports sponsors who take various forms in the game and may be found in and around the rink thanks to advertising that is made to seem precisely like the real thing. To be as genuine as possible, an in-game sponsor requires the same level of design as an honest company.
