What about the Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 story?

The Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 is the high-speed 2D action Gunvolt series’ most grandiose entry yet! Gunvolt 3 balances both an engaging story and exciting gameplay! Play as both newcomer Kirin and series protagonist Gunvolt, switching between them on the fly as you overcome Gunvolt 3’s numerous courses and enemies.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 Review: Plot Mode+, which ensures that the exhilarating action is not interrupted by the rich story. Image Pulses, collectible summons, and equipment summoned from Gunvolt’s own memories are all new in Gunvolt 3. There are almost 150 different types to gather!

How about Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 gameplay?

Rather of Gunvolt and Copen being totally different playable characters like they were in Gunvolt 2, Kirin is the default character who may swap to Gunvolt under specific scenarios.

When she is not in play, GV follows her in a sealed raiju-like form and saves her if she falls into any pits, with Kirin reappearing nearby on firm ground. When GV enters the game, Kirin vanishes and her staff sword hovers behind GV.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 Review: Who is in the game has no effect on the discourse, but it does modify the portrait presented. Kirin’s face is regular, although Gunvolt’s is raiju-like, and Gunvolt’s picture is human, whilst Kirin’s face turns phantom-like. The mission soundtrack varies depending on which character is in play; GV has more synthesizers. Kudos, checkpoints, and the circumstances for music playback have all been altered dramatically.

Kudos are not lost when you take damage, use special talents, or reach checkpoints. Checkpoints are unavoidable. When the kudos bar is damaged, a lock is placed on it, preventing it from increasing until a set quantity of kudos is obtained.

The bigger the number of praises already earned, the greater the punishment when hit. The kudos multiplier has greatly boosted. As the score meter above the player’s health bar has expanded by two digits, it appears that it will be feasible to obtain mission score totals in the billions. It has been reported that there are other kudos modes, but no details have been published.

Is it good Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 combat?

Lumen and her song, unlike in previous games, are on a timer, symbolized by a meter below kudos that slowly depletes. She will vanish once she is completely depleted. Reaching kudos levels of 2000, 3000, and so on refills this meter and returns her back if she has vanished. Kudos turn gold at 4000.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 Review: It is possible to make new songs play at a greater kudos level. By equipping passive Image Pulses, you may build a medley playlist of selected songs. Skill cut-ins combine LAiX2 animation with chanting from GV1, GV2, and LAiX1. Like in the LAiX series, bosses have victory quotes.

What are the main characters of this Azure Striker Gunvolt 3?

Kirin

The new protagonist and default playable character. A shrine girl and the world’s sole Adept with the Septimal power Radiant Fetters, i.e. Chain Rings that can lock other powers. Radiant Fetters may not be Septimas, despite the fact that they can close them.

Gunvolt

He returns as a protagonist and temporarily playable character, formerly known as “The Azure Striker.” He’s been partially sealed after waking to a power greater than Septima. Please keep in mind that the little Pupvolt has been referred to as a “wholly distinct character” from GV’s raiju-like sealed form, therefore its nature remains unknown.

Lumen

A tangible manifestation of a delusion based on someone from GV’s past. It is uncertain what her true nature is. Aizu stated in an interview that her being an illusion is exactly as described in the original.

Ironically, GV’s worry after GV1 that the Joule who remained with him was only a septimal fabrication rather than the actual woman may have come true.

Black Badge “The Dancing Dead”

He is the first berserk Adept seen and is battled in Holy Night XIII on Christmas Eve. He is an Adept with the Septima “Geist.” He becomes Kirin and GV’s ally after being saved and begins following them around.

He’s a mood creator who speaks in archaic language and gets carried away. Even when his clumsy attempts at being a ladies’ man fail, BB stays upbeat. In his efforts to lift himself out of poverty, he has a diverse CV of part-time occupations.

“The Iron Delinquent” Cayman

He is battled in Pride & Battle as one of the masked berserk Adepts. He possesses the Duelist Septima, which drives his opponents to battle fairly and squarely. He’s a tyrant who values responsibility and empathy, and training is his “passion.” He excels at one-on-one fighting matches.

“The Wizard Operator,” Shiron

He is battled in Cyber Daydream as one of the masked berserk Adepts. He’s Adept with Septima Overclock and a cutting-edge pro gamer with a knack for ingenuity. He admires “cool dudes,” and he believes he speaks like one…

“The Swinging Jester” Apollo

He is one of the masked berserk Adepts seen in Pendulum Heart. A young guy who was formerly an assassin and possesses the Pendulum skill. He’s a bit strict with rules and etiquette, and he’s a bit finicky, but he’s a good person at heart. Because of their unique personalities, he is in charge of keeping an eye on the other companions.

ZedΩ

The head of the antagonistic group ATEMS. He is Gunvolt’s greatest Septimal Adept, wielding the infinite energy of nuclear fusion. The Golden Dawn (Gold Trillion) governs over the Sun and destroys the planet with a blinding brightness before re-creating it.

“The Fatal Gunwoman” Sistina

She is one of the ATEMS Knights and their head officer, as well as Zed’s personal secretary, having obtained the post largely through force in order to curry favor with him.

She is the mission’s boss and an Adept with the identically titled Septima Trick Bullet, which allows her to conjure bullets with various unique features like homing in on targets or causing tornadoes upon contact.

“The Mystic Mist” Serpentine

A member of the ATEMS Knights. She is the mission’s boss, Mystic Mist. An Adept with the Phantom Mist Septima, which can generate illusions from fog, as well as sense traumas and potentially hear the grievances of the dead. Sistina does not get along with him.

“Sand Stronger Birthplace Guardian Super-Strength Deity” Grazie

A member of the ATEMS Knights. Given her title and the presence of a desert stage, it was assumed she had a sand-related talent. Unlike Zed and Serpentine, she has the “protagonist light” in her eyes. She was supposed to be publicly unveiled on the July 13th broadcast, however owing to Haruka Terui contracting covid, the character debut and appearance were pushed back to a later date.

Prado

Based on the cast placement, it’s most likely one of the ATEMS Knights.

Leila/Luxia

The 13th character and VA were not revealed until just days before the film’s release. On the cast list, she is paired with Zed, above Sistina, Serpentine, Grazie, and Prado. The significance of her dual names is unknown, however, a similar figure existed previously: Joule/Lumen.

Mystery Girl

A female character appears on promotional artwork alongside Lumen. Has the same lightless “evil eyes” as Zed and Serpentine. Despite being seen quite early, she has only been referred to as “the mystery beauty” in select information streams while looking over shop promotions.
