Food Truck Simulator Story

Food Truck Simulator depicts not just the life of a food truck owner, but also the life of someone attempting to keep the family company running.

In typical simulator form, there is a lot to do beyond from cooking correctly, caring for the truck, and improving stuff. In between flipping burgers and ensuring sure there’s enough cheese in both the onboard fridge and the player’s wallet to keep going, there’s competition, racing, and mayhem.

Food Truck Simulator features a plot, however, it’s not as shady as Gas Station Simulators. It revolves around a man who decides to restart his father’s old food truck company. His father was quite proud of the truck and took care of it personally, even entering contests with it.

The automobile has aged slightly, but the game exploits this to build up the lesson by having the user fix it. When it’s finished, the main character may take over the company and start things going.

Food Truck Simulator Gameplay

Food Truck Simulator Review: Food Truck Simulator is leading the charge and redefining the way we think about simulators: no more grandfather abandoning the family company; this time, it’s the father. Dad used to drive his food truck around town, and now it’s time for you to pick up the torch, although you have no idea how to do it and must work your way up.

First and foremost, we have a base where you may personalize your car. There are few possibilities, but enough of the tip to pique your interest. We can modify the color of the car, add some cool stickers on the side, and outfit it with the essential business equipment. I installed a grill, a new fridge, and loaded up on groceries from a sold old darling whose name escapes me after sprucing up my truck with a fresh coat of paint and new wheels.

She’s a family friend who will sell you the items you require, sometimes at a discount, and will walk you through the game in the instructional phase. After you’ve placed your order, you’re free to explore the seemingly limitless world of Food Truck Simulator.

You may drive about in first-person or third-person view, run over pedestrians without consequence, listen to music, and if you get stuck, hit Z to flip the truck over.

This option will appeal to anyone who has played Gas Station Simulator. More importantly, the gameplay is addicting in the greatest way possible; I expect Food Truck Simulator to rack up 40+ hours of playing in the first few days after release.

Food Truck Simulator Truck Features

In Food Truck Simulator, you rebuild, outfit, and restore the lustre of your father’s food truck. Create recipes, make the cuisine, and serve people all throughout town.

Customize and grow your food truck’s menu to reach more people. Customers might be demanding and impatient. You’ll discover that you don’t have much time to buy them what they want while also catering to their tastes.

As your reputation increases, so does your arsenal of tricks and tools. Keep up with your celebrity as you follow in your father’s footsteps.

Food Truck Simulator Store

Food Truck Simulator Review: Making food is quite similar to the mechanics of Cooking Simulator, but simpler, which fits nicely with a food truck’s more limited menu. Making burgers entails grilling them with various toppings, depending on the order.

Instead than just waiting for the burger to cook, players must ensure that it is grilled to the customer’s preference of rare, medium, or well-done. Sometimes toasted buns are preferred, and sometimes they are not.

Players will also be required to slice specific dishes and arrange desired toppings in the correct sequence. Another similarity to Cooking Simulator is that orders have customer ratings, which contribute to tips and raising the food truck’s prestige, allowing it to become more popular and serve in new regions of the city.

Food Truck Simulator Map

Food Truck Simulator Review: When it comes to the city, it’s more than simply a map to click on to get from point A to point B. Players will be able to drive the food truck at all hours of the day and night, which is an unexpected and welcome feature.

The map isn’t particularly vast, but it’s adequate for driving about. There are road closures, traffic, and new regions for gamers to explore. If the player is into Grand Theft Auto-style behaviour, they can run over people, play chicken with other vehicles, and generally create mayhem and ruin around the city with no consequences. There’s also some amazing music to listen to on the in-game radio while driving about town or working.

Food Truck Simulator Graphics and Visual

Unfortunately, the game began with poor frame rates. I had the graphics preset set to Epic and was getting 20 fps or less. I reduced the visuals to High, but there was no noticeable increase in FPS. To reach a workable 30-35 FPS, I had to reduce it to Medium. I also needed to enable Nvidia DLSS and switch it to Performance mode.

I wasn’t thrilled with the FPS I was receiving, but it was playable. It’s worth noting that I was using a gaming laptop, but I’ve been playing Horizon Zero Dawn on the same laptop connected to the same 4K monitor and achieving 50-60 FPS on the “Favor Quality” preset. I also had Nvidia DLSS on in Performance mode, so there was no latency.

The fact that a game with such a large environment runs so easily yet the Food Truck Simulator doesn’t leads me to believe that it’s less about my hardware and more about developer optimization. At the very least, the game didn’t appear to be too awful.

The interior of the garage appeared beautiful and tidy at Medium settings, but things took a turn for the worst when I was outside driving my freshly painted truck.
